From December to April, SIMEON VOYAGES Company presents his sailing cruises to the Antilles. A departure from Pointe- à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Antigua or Saint-Martin.

Our cruises combine sailing navigations and anchorages in beautiful landscapes, a real immersion in the culture and gastronomy of french Antilles, and visits of one of the most tremendous region, with its deserted sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters. Welcome to paradise on earth!

 

Indicative cruise's program (from Pointe-à-Pitre)

Day 1

Welcome passengers on board, in Pointe-à-Pitre marina. A welcome aperitif, dinner on board, night in the port.

Day 2

Brunch, then we depart to the island of Petite-Terre (a Nature Reserve), 4-5 hours of navigation. Anchorage between the two islands of Petite-Terre, connected by a ridge of coral reefs. Lunch on board, snorkling, discovery of the beautifull Coral reef, swimming with turtles, rays and coral fish... Walk around the island Ter-de-Bas to the lighthouse (the oldest lighthouse of Antilles). Aperitif and dinner at restaurant, night at anchor.

Day 3

Departure under sail to the island of Marie-Galante (2-3 hours of navigation). Anchoring near Cape Folle Anse, a many kilometers long beach, very quiet and peacefull. Lunch, swimming, free time. Later in the afternoon, we move to the bay of Saint Louis. Visit of the village, aperitif and dinner in a local restaurant, evening with typical melodies and rhythms.

Day 4

Departure to the island of Dominica (where there is the largest Antillean rain forest), 3-4 hours of navigation. Anchorage, lunch on board, then visit of the rain forest, the reserve of Caribbean Indians,  and one of numerous waterfalls (the land is called the island of 365 rivers), including the famous Trafalgar waterfall (height 60 m). Dinner at restaurant, night at anchor.

Day 5

After breakfast, we move to the bay of Terre-de-Haut, 3-4 hours of navigation. Anchoring, lunch on board, then visit of the island, including Fort Napoleon (out breathtaking views of the Gulf Les Saintes), the weel-known museum of history of the island, the Pompière beach and Cape of Figuier. At the end of the day an aperitif and dinner in a restaurant of Bourg de Terre de Haut.

Day 6

Departure to the small island Gosier (3 hours of navigation). Anchrorage, lunch at restaurant, then afternoon dedicated to snorkelling and farniente. Dinner on board, night at anchor. 

Day 7

After 2-3 hours-navigation, arrival to village of Sainte Anne. Anchorage in the amazing lagoon of Sainte Anne. Snorkelling, then visit of the village and its typical market. At the end of the day, we sail back to Pointe-à-Pitre, then festive dinner in town and night in the port. 

Day 8

Departure from the boat at 9 am.

We take in charge the organization of your 7 days "all inclusive" holidays (from saturday afternoon till the next saturday morning). Our services include:

  • Boat rental and insurance, preparation of the vessel before navigation, Lagoon 400 or equivalent
  • skipper and stewardess salaries
  • Bed linen, towels, beach towels, fins, mask, snorkel
  • Fuel, cleaning of the boat after journey
  • Meals for clients, half-board (breakfast, and lunch or dinner during 7 days)

 

Additional charges:

  • Reservation for a hotel
  • Plane tickets for passengers
  • Meeting clients at the airport/hotel, transport cost for a taxi from the airport/hotel to the sailboat
